Linking Pursuits to Opportunities

A pursuit can be linked to an opportunity. Doing this associates the opportunity specifically to the target company in that pursuit.

To link a pursuit to an opportunity:

1. Open the opportunity in InterAction Business Edge.

   NOTE You cannot link from an open pursuit to an opportunity except by creating a new opportunity from the pursuit. There is no link from a pursuit to an existing opportunity. You can, however, link from an open opportunity to an existing pursuit.

2. In the Related Pursuit panel, click the Link icon .

3. The Link Pursuit to Opportunity panel provides a list of pursuits affiliated with the target company. Choose from the list of pursuits provided.

4. Click Save. The pursuit and opportunity are linked.
